According to the site http://www.internetworldstats.com/stats.htm the number of internet users in the world is spread as per the graph below. So over 40% of users are in Asia and nearly 25% in Europe. So in terms of numbers that is where your marketing efforts should be.
OK lets be realistic there are a large number of corporate websites in this lot but still there is a vast potential for business on line for us all.

I just read some very interesting stats., In the USA
99% of businesses started by inexperienced people fail, BUT…
80% of businesses started by experienced people succeed, — so you know what you need to do if you are runnng a home based or on line business.
You need to make sure you are working with an experienced person and your chances are much, much higher of succeeding. This makes buying into an existing system a great idea. You should find someone who is already running a home based business or an on line business to work with. Also you should pug into a “mastermind” group.this is a group of people who are already successful and can help you with your home income stream. So try linking in with an existing system such as our useful links to get help along the way.

I forgot to mention on my last post that you can ping your blog. This means that you send notification to several sites automatically using something like pingoat or pingomatic (check out the squidoo lense free ping services). You enter your url and press go and theservice does the rest. In theory then the search engines pick up traffic to your site and you move up the search page. Give it a go it can be very succesful.

What do you need to do to get noticed on the internet. This is an art all of its own and there are many many ways to get noticed. If you have a limited budget you can publish some articles at ezine articles or another article directory, just type article directory into your search engine to find one. Follow the rules and you will get your article published and you can have a link back to a blog or website. Be careful about affiliate links, they are frowned upon. This route will require a little bit of effort as you will have to research and then write an article. You can find out more about that on the Masters of the Internet Marketing course. The hardest thing is to get started, but the most important thing is to get started. Remember the old Chinese proverb
“A journey of a thousand miles starts with a single step”
So even if you have to rewrite an article several times write it and publish it.
An alternative is to pay for some adsense adverts – you know the kind of things you get on the side of some websites.These can be very effective but you need to know what you are doing to ensure you don’t lose money. Then of course there is the option of joining a traffick exchange such as traffick swarm which is free. The deal here is you have to click on links to gain credits. Your credits are used to direct people to your links. This can get some traffic but probably won’t get you a huge amount of business. It should certainly be considered as a strategy in the early part of a business.
The other thing to do is to make sure your website is something that people will search for so look for the keywords that are relevant to your niche and get them into your titles and tag lines.

Ok there are many ways to get traffic to your website or on line business, some are better than others and some require more work than others. One way is to join a traffic exchange such as traffic swarm The way this works is that everytime you open your browser you earn a credit, then if you click a link you earn more credits. You exchange yourcredits for people being directed to your website. Simple yes, but it could slow you down a bit as you have to stay on the site you have clicked for a few seconds to register your credits. This is definitely something worth considering especially in the early days.

There are loads and loads of opportunities on the internet. One of the easiest ways to get started is to start a blog. Blogging is also a tool for getting traffic to your website. This is the crux of making money on the internet you can have the best product or opportunity in the world but if no one knows about it it is useless. Its like having a shop in the back bedroom of your house, no one will see it so who is going to buy anything. The good news about the internet is that there are 1.6 billion people on line and hunreds of thousands more joining every week. So you don’t need much of that market to make a living.
There is a brilliant start up course provided by Breeze called Power Blog training. This will get you through finding a niche and setting up a blog, you will also get some free ebooks and an affiliate website for free. If you want to go into more depth you can sign up and you will get access to the Masters of internet Marketing course which takes you through all you need to know in astep by step on line course. I like these kind of resources as you can learn at your own speed. The most important hing is to get started and keep going. Remember the old chinese proverb “A journey of a thousand miles starts with a single step.”
You can look to make money by blogging using tried and trusted methods such as signing up to an existing system. This has the advantage that you know it has worked for others in the past so the system works. You could also start from scratch with a wordpress or blogspot blog (just google to find them) , both are free to sign up and relatively easy to set up. If you go for one of these though you will not get access to the techniques which help you get your blog noticed for that you will need to go tp a course like the Power Blog Training.

There are a lot of people out there saying “just sign up here and you will make a lot of money”. Believe me if it was that easy every body would be rich. What they fail to tell you is that in the words of the old cliche “the only place success comes before work is the dictionary”. Yes some of these people have made a lot of money and are making a lot of money. Some do live fantastic lifestyles and only work a few hours a day or a week, but… they have also done the studying, done the work and set up a system to automate their income generation.
However anyone can make money on the internet with the right tools. Some ideas are listed below.
And to be frank there are some crooks out there as well. So your job is to try and find the good from the bad and that isn’t always straight forward. You should look at your due diligence try to find out a bit of background etc.
There are many many people out there who spend a fortune and never get any money, there are some who spend a fortune and then the penny drops and they say to themselves “if only I had realised” before they go on to be very successful.
If you want to be successful, be prepared to study, educate yourself, plan and most of all take action. You don’t want to be an educated derelict.
